Camber Castle
Camber Castle is a 16th-century artillery fort built by Henry VIII to defend the port of Rye. It sits within Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, between Rye and Winchelsea, and is best visited as part of a walk through the reserve.
There is no vehicle access directly to the castle, and interior access can be restricted, so guests should check current visiting information before setting off.
